Mobile network providers are getting ready with a wide range of tempting deals this holiday season. The urge to get as many customers as possible is on all new heights. While some customers are getting attracted towards high end phones on a costly contract, others want a simple handset but on a very cheap contract.

Gifting your loved ones with brand new mobile phone deals on amazing contracts is nothing new at this time of the year. There are tons of network providers in the UK and choosing the right one is really the key. Customers tend to compare the different deals that different networks are offering and then choose the one that suits them the best. Imagine getting a stunning handset for a low cost or if you just want a device for making calls and sending messages, how about getting a basic handset on a contract that is absolutely free? Let’s take a look at some of the cheapest contract phone deals in the UK, or should I say, FREE deals?

T-Mobile:
T-Mobile Mobile Phones brings you some amazing deals this holiday season. From a huge pool of exciting contracts, this mobile network giant has scooped up some of the most alluring deals in an attempt to attract as many customers as it can. You can choose between a Nokia 1616, the Nokia C1-02 black, JCB Tradesman TP 121 and the Nokia C2-01 black on some brilliant deals. Get any of these handsets on an 18 month contract without incurring any cost. That’s right, it’s FREE! T-Mobile offers these handsets on a one of a kind free contract, where the monthly discount covers your line rental cost completely. You can choose between 100 to 600 minutes while you get unlimited text to use with these contracts. Not only this, some of the contracts even offer data allowance up to 500 MB which is a great deal for any customer. As long as you stay within your monthly allowance, you can be guaranteed that you would not be paying any cost for your contract. Getting this bounty of allowance for no cost on an 18 month contract would certainly be an offer that is too hard to resist.

Vodafone:
Vodafone mobile phones is another network provider to launch the free contract deal. The company is offering customers a FREE 18 month contract with the Nokia 1616. What you get is 100 cross network minutes, 500 texts; 250 MB of data allowance which can be used at anytime and 1GB BT open zone Wi-Fi. Getting so much for no cost seems too good to be true – but it is! The actual cost of the contract is £ 26.00 a month; however, due to the redemption scheme, you get 18 months of absolutely free line rental. Vodafone customers would be thrilled to maintain their relationship with the same network while they get one of the most incredible offers of all time.

Other Networks:
Although other mobile network providers have not yet launched any free contracts this festive season, the next few coming days will see a lot of other great deals being launched in the market. Every network provider is attempting to crack the best deals in order to stay on top of its competitors and if free contracts are on the map, then so be it. It is quite obvious that network providers cannot offer a high end handset like a Blackberry, iPhone or the Galaxy S2 on such contracts; however, getting a basic handset that can be used to make calls, text your friends and family and access the internet while you’re on the go is good enough for a contract that’s being given to your for no cost.

Tired of your old phone and network? Are you looking to switch to another network that’s offering the best mobile phone deal? If you’re answer is “yes”, you’re obviously wondering about all the trouble you’ll need to go through to save all your contacts on your new phone and inform them of your new number. This is a hassle for most people. But hold on! How about switching to a different network for a contract phone deal and retaining your old number? Sounds great, doesn’t it?

With the introduction of mobile number portability, it is possible to transfer your number across networks. You can keep the same number no matter which mobile phone network you choose to go with. All you have to do is browse through the mobile phone deals that different networks have and then select the one that fits your requirements. The rest of the process is pretty simple. Let’s have a look at how mobile number portability works.

Contractual Requirements

Mobile number portability requires you to fulfill your contractual requirements first. You have to complete your minimum contract term in order to obtain a PAC code. If you haven’t completed your contract term and you’re looking to transfer your number to a different network, your existing network has the right to charge you an early termination fee for your existing contract. This termination fee is nothing but the line rental for the rest of the contract term.

Active Contract
PAC codes or Porting Authorization Codes can be obtained only on active contracts. If you have already cancelled your contract with your existing network, the network will not be in a position to issue a PAC code to you. Depending on how soon you’re contacting the network after cancellation, some networks may make an exception and issue a manual PAC code to you. This can be used to transfer your number across to the other network.

**REMEMBER to get your pac code before cancelling your contract or your number will go back into circulation.
Requesting your PAC code

You will have to contact your existing network provider once you have met the above requirements and request for a PAC code. A PAC code is generally a three to six character long code that is a mixture of numbers and letters. Once a PAC is issued, it is most likely to be valid for 30 days. If the transfer is not done within this time, you would have to request for another PAC code.

Transferring you number
Most people get confused about the transfer process. Porting your number across to the other network is a very simple process although it needs to be done correctly. A lot of people are under the impression that a number can be transferred to the other network only after they receive the first bill. This is incorrect. You can have your number transferred to the other network while you’re registering for the new contract itself. If you happen to forget to do this, you can always call the customer service department of your new network within 30 days of the PAC being issued and have the number transferred over. Once you give the details to the new network, get a timeline on the process to ensure that you are familiar with when the transfer is going to happen. This could be anywhere between 4 hours to 7 days, depending on the network you choose.

Completing your transfer
On the day the transfer is scheduled to be completed, you might face temporary disruptions in your network. This is quite common and there is nothing to worry. All you have to do is turn your phone off and turn it back on and your services should resume perfectly with the number you transferred over. Once the transfer has be done to your new network, your old contract will be closed and a final bill will be sent to your shortly after that.

The term “Smartphone” has been doing the rounds quite a lot in recent days. Although most people are familiar with the term, they are not familiar with what a Smartphone actually is. It’s true that Smartphones are high end devices with advanced features; but how are they different from other phones. Many people wonder this when seeing adverts for the Samsung Galaxy S2, Apple iPhone 4S or HTC Sensation range.

A Smartphone lets you make calls just like any other phone; however, there are a lot of other features that is has that you would not find in the traditional cell phones. A Smartphone has almost all the superior capabilities of a computer and lets you stay in touch with your friends and family through multiple applications while you’re on the go. To know more about what a Smartphone is, first let’s understand what makes it so smart.

Operating System
The traditional mobile phones would let you make calls, store your contacts, send messages to your friends and family, set alarms and that was pretty much it. A Smartphone on the other hand runs on an operating system which allows it to run modern applications that are designed to make you life much easier while using the phone. Apple’s iPhone runs on the iOS operating system, Blackberry mobile phones on the BlackBerry OS operating system and the other Smartphones run on Google’s Android, HP’s webOS and the Windows operating system.

Accessing the Internet
Smartphones offer superior web access speeds as compared to traditional mobile phones. Most of the Smartphones are compatible with 3G and 4G networks, enabling them to access the internet at higher speeds than your older phones. With Wi-Fi, you can access your favorite site while you’re on the go. Some Smartphones even support the multiple window browsing feature, allowing you to access multiple sites at one go.

Messaging
Sending a text message to your friends and family is quite common even when using a regular cell phone. A Smartphone also lets you sync your emails with your messaging feature, letting you send and receive emails with ease. Most Smartphones allow you to configure more than one email, giving you the convenience of never having to turn on your computer when you need to send an urgent email or reply to an email that you have just received. All your mails are delivered directly to your handset. You get complete access to your mailbox, both professional and personal.

Besides giving you access to your mails, Smartphones also let you access instant messengers so that you can chat with your friends while you ride the bus on your way home. Log into your Gmail, Yahoo, AOL, or any other messenger for that matter, and stay in touch with all your contacts at once.

Applications
Smartphones let you install the latest applications on your handset. You can edit documents; store hundreds of pictures, Set reminders, play high-end games and a lot more. Install GPS on your Smartphone and get directions to the wherever you want to go. Advanced enhancements to the phone also let you edit photos, record files, capture clear cut pictures and do a lot of other fun stuff. You can create a playlist by selecting your favorite songs from the huge database and hit the play button while you’re at the gym or driving the car.

QWERTY Keyboard
If you have a look at your computer keyboard and your Smartphone, the manner in which the keys are laid out are identical. This gives you the convenience of typing quickly. Sending messages, mails and chatting with your friends can be done ultra-fast. The keys are either laid out in a keyboard form or if your Smartphone is a touch screen then it would be available for use on the keyboard.

If your looking for a new smartphone then find a cheap samsung, HTC, Nokia or iPhone mobile phone deals on orange, t-mobile,Vodafone, O2, T-mobile, Talkmobile and 3 mobile.

Mobile network providers in the UK are battling it out to provide the hottest deals with a view of attracting more and more customers this festive season. High-end phones, low cost price plans, tempting add ons and a lot more are being offered to potential customers who wish to grab the best deals in the market. Getting a top notch handset for a cheap price is already too much to handle. Throw in a free 3d TV in all this chaos and you have an mobile phone deal that is just too tempting to turn down.

There are several free 3d TV deals offered by network providers. The deals start from as low as £30 a month and go higher depending on the handset and type of 3d you wish to have. Let’s take a look at some of these amazing deals that are designed to attract old and young customers alike.

Free Isis 42” 3d TV with Orange
Orange has come up with a deal offering the Isis 42” 3d TV free of cost with the Samsung E1080 for a totally monthly cost of £36. This deal is available over a 24 month contract and comes along with 900 minutes and 900 texts plus 250MB of data usage. Getting a 42” 3d TV for a price this low is simply mind blowing. Though the handset may not be a high-end one, compromising on this aspect to get an outstanding TV is certainly worth your money.

Free Isis 42” 3d TV with T-Mobile
T-Mobile has entered the competition of offering a free 3d TV with the Samsung Tocco Lite Red on a 24 month contract. The TV is again the Isis 3d that is well known for its picture quality and 3d frames. This deal is quite similar to the one Orange is offering as it gives the customer 900 minutes and 900 texts. The data usage is not limited to 250MB, but the customer has an option to use unlimited data with this contract for a price of just £30.64.

Free Isis 42” 3d TV with O2
Grab a 42” free 3d TV from Isis along with a Nokia E7 on a 24 month contract with O2. The network provider is offering this deal at £47 per month with 1200 minutes and 1200 texts and an additional 500MB of data usage. Getting a high end phone such as the E7 is a one of a kind deal.

Free Isis 42” 3d TV with a Blackberry
O2 is also offering the Isis 3d TV with a Blackberry Curve 8520 on a 24 month contract. This is a major seller with customers who do not use the internet on their phone in the UK as it provides 1200 minutes and 1200 texts for a price of just £41. Use the blackberry messenger to chat with your friends and watch TV in real 3d style.

Free Isis 42” 3d TV with Vodafone
If you’re a Vodafone customer and you’re looking to stay with the same network and get a free 3d TV along with a remarkable deal, this is your chance. You can pick up a free Isis 42” 3d TV along with a Nokia 2220 Slide on a 24 month contract. You will receive 600 minutes and 600 texts along with 500MB of data for a mere cost of £36 per month.
The deals shown above are some of the hottest 3d TV deals in the UK that are being offered at the moment. There are several other deals that are available for a higher price – this purely depends on the type of phone you select with your contract.

Due to the holiday season, the competition among mobile network providers in the UK is heating up. Various schemes and offers are made available to prospective customers in an effort to woo them to switch networks or to stay loyal to a specific network provider. Pay monthly contracts with superior handsets are being offered to customers for as low as £10 / month. It’s all boiling down to which network can offer the best deal in the market. Getting unlimited text, minutes and even data for that matter has become incredibly easier. When network providers throw in a free iPad 2 in all this commotion, the competition outrageously raises to all new levels, giving customers the opportunity to get their hands on the hottest product that is currently available in the tech market.

Several network providers in the UK have launched deals offering the free iPad 2 for no cost along with a mobile phone contract for 18 or 24 months. There is a wide range of phones for you to choose from for your contract. Plenty of minutes, text and data allowance is allocated to ensure that you are always connected to your loved ones. You can choose to get a high end phone for a higher price or select a basic handset to cut down the monthly cost of your contract. Let’s take a look at some of the free iPad 2 deals on an 18 and 24 month contract.

iPad 2 with a 18 Month Mobile Phone Contract Deal:
Most customers prefer a minimum contract term in order to change to a better deal once the contract is over. The Free iPad 2 deals with a pay monthly contract are available on 18 month contracts too. This gives customers the option of going with an 18 month contract instead of a 24 month contract while getting a great deal as well. There are several 18 month contracts that offer the free iPad 2. The price per month for these contracts range from £30.64 to £72.00. If you are happy to settle for a basic handset such as the Nokia 1616 or the Samsung E1170, you can get a great bargain and pick up a free iPad 2 for as low as £30.64. If you want a high end handset with all the updated features and applications, you might have to shell out a bit more money to get the iPad 2 free on those contracts. Either ways, getting a free iPad 2 for £72 a month along with a top quality handset will still seem like a fantastic bargain for most customers.

iPad 2 with a 24 Month Mobile Phone Contract Deal:
24 months contracts are excellent deals for customers who are willing to stay on a longer contract term in order to save on their monthly price. 24 month contracts with a free iPad 2 start from £25.54 per month and go all the way up to £63.00 per month. Your choice of handset would be a major factor in deciding the cost you pay per month. The better the handset, the greater the cost. You can get an HTC Evo 3D or a Sony Ericsson Xperia for a higher cost, while basic Nokia and Samsung phones are available for grabs on one of the cheaper deals with different networks. Network Providers offer a variety of handsets that can be paired with your free iPad 2.

Both, 18 and 24 month contracts, offer plenty of minutes, text and data for you to use. All you have to do is pick a handset of your choice, make sure that the price plan meets your requirements and grab the free iPad 2 with both hands. You can get a Blackberry, Nokia, Samsung, LG, HTC and many more with your contract, and of course a free iPad 2 is without a doubt that delicious cherry on the cake.

Is The HTC Sensation XL is basically an upgraded version of the HTC Sensation XE? Both handsets are packed with outrageously stunning features that do complete justice to their price. Featuring the android gingerbread operating system, both handsets offer a state of the art interface and extremely fast browsing capability to enhance every user’s experience. These exclusive phones by HTC are designed to offer a fantastic experience in terms of web browsing, playing games, capturing, watching and sharing videos and more. Let’s put both these devices side by side while we test their differences.

Design: The HTC Sensation XE and the HTC Sensation XL are both touch screen phones with large displays. Featuring a sleek white body, the XL has a contemporary look that attracts everyone. On the other hand, the Sensation XE has a dash of red to give it a trendier look that goes in perfect sync with its features. The XL features a 4.7 inch display while the XE features a slightly smaller 4.3 inch display. This makes the XL a better phone in terms of its display as it offers a bigger screen with higher resolution to provide user’s a superior experience.

Camera: Both these sensational devices have an 8.0 megapixel camera to capture the best pictures. Both phones feature auto focus and flash and are perfect to shoot videos at a night party with your friends or to capture a road trip with your office colleagues. The XE has a camera that shoots videos in better HD quality. The difference is almost negligible. The Sensation XE also has additional features such as face detection, instant touch focus, instant capture and image stabilization, giving it the edge over the XL in terms of the camera.

Memory: This is probably the first big difference a user may notice in both phones. The HTC Sensation XE comes with 1 GB of internal memory and a micro SD card slot offering 32 GB of expandable memory. The HTC Sensation XL does not support a micro SD card slot; however, it features 16 GB of internal memory. For users who prefer having the option of expanding their memory with time, the XE would be a good bet. If you’re purchasing the XL, you will have to be satisfied with 16 GB of memory. Choosing between the XE and the XL on storage would have to be an individual choice. Most people prefer larger internal memory because it reads faster. In those terms, the XL is definitely a better buy.

Operating System: Both the handsets run on the android 2.3 gingerbread operating system. The operating system provides for a user friendly interface and is great for multitasking. HTC has announced that it would be making the android ice cream sandwich operating system available on both phones soon. This is a fantastic enhancement to both devices and would surely be welcomed by users who find gingerbread a little tired and old to use.

Conclusion: The HTC Sensation XE and the HTC Sensation XL are both remarkable phones that are designed to offer users an all round sound performance experience. The Sensation XE has features that are a bit more advanced than the XL; however, the XE takes the nail when it comes to internal memory. That’s where the XL definitely scores brownie points. The XL also has a larger screen, offering better movie, gaming and browsing experience. The XE and XL are both quality handsets in their own right; however the XE does appeal more in terms of specifications. What it probably lacks is internal memory and that may be a major reason why users would actually go for the XL instead.

Mobile phone networks offer a variety of pay monthly contracts for their customers. Most providers offer contracts of 12 months, 18 months and 24 months while some even offer 36 month contracts. Getting a pay monthly deal is much more cost effective compared to a pay as you go deal. The network providers distribute the cost of the phone and their service into the number of months of the contract, enabling customers to get competitive monthly plans. Because there is widespread competition in the mobile network market, customers are offered the best pay monthly deals to keep them satisfied and loyal to a network. Most customers prefer going with the shortest possible contract deal i.e. a 12 month contract deal because there are several benefits with a 12 month contract.

1.	Get high-end handsets: Most network providers offer high-end handsets on a 12 month contract with a small upfront fee. The fee is charged to basically cover the price of the handset as the contract is just for 12 months. Customers can get handset such as the Samsung Galaxy S2 on a 12 month contract for an upfront payment of approximately £100. This is a great bargain for most customers.

2.	Upgrade in 12 months: Taking a 12 month contract deal also means that you can upgrade it once your initial contract period expires. Since the competition in the market is high, there is always a need for network providers to introduce better offers in the market in order to help their business flourish. This is a benefit for customers. You can choose to upgrade your contract after 12 months and get a better deal on the same network provider.

3.	Manufacturer Warranty: The manufacturer’s warranty on most handsets last for only 12 months. This means that if you are on a 12 month contract and there is a manufacturing defect with the handset, the network provider would get your handset repaired or replaced as you are within your warranty period. Any kind of defect is covered within the manufacturer’s warranty, giving you complete peace of mind and the flexibility of using your handset freely.

4.	Get the latest handset after 12 months: Since you get the option of upgrading your contract after 12 months, you can choose from the latest handsets at that time to go with your upgraded contract. There are new high-end handset launched in the market frequently and to get an option to choose from them every 12 months is a great deal for any customer. 12 month contracts ensure that you have the advantage of making a choice of which phone you want to use for the next year.
